The Auto Union Team and the Italian driver, Tazio Nuvolari, were very successful with the Type D. Nuvolari won the Grand Prix in Italy and Donnington (both in 1938) and in 1939 the Grand Prix in Belgrade, which was the last Grand Prix for a long time and brought a great victor to an end.
CMC have beautifully recreated this model, hand assembling it from 684 individual parts.
